   That's pretty funny. On my two favorite Texas sportsboards there are a bunch of liberals down in Travis County (Austin) who are always complaining about the Williamson County (Round Rock - where I live) gestapo LEOs and courts that hand out tough sentences for violators (such as druggies & drunk drivers). Of course they all get indignant when I comment that it's not too difficult to tell just who got busted up here & who didn't. LOL Drug dealers convicted in my county routinely get 40-50 year sentences, as do multiple DWI offenders, and most murderers get the DP. Of course we have VERY few murders in Williamson County, plus our overall crime rate is lots lower than Austin's. The "progressives" down there just can't seem to comprehend cause & effect.
   
   Having said all that, I don't know if you heard or not, our ex-DIL was attacked by some scumbag three weeks ago and nearly died. She's still in ICU after a couple of brain surgeries and will probably need nursing care for the rest of her life. It's devastated our twin grandkids to say the least. However, they will be with my son & his wife full time from now on.
   Being brain damaged, she is unable to tell the detectives what happened or who did it, but they have a prime suspect (a recently dumped boyfriend who had started abusing her). It may have happened at her home, but the LEOs are tight-lipped about the case.
   If they can get a conviction, the "perp" will undoubtedly draw a very long sentence.

   The bulletin boards are the same old, same old. The people who were on them years ago are still there bitching about the same things they did years ago, nothing changes. Whats the over/under on Kevin lasting on LVI? I'm sure Ace will set him up and treat him like crap just like he did last time. I'd have to say Kevin is too nice a person to put up with Ace and his girlfriend.
   
   As for Binions Peace Place, in my opinion it was a case of too many quasi- intellectuals trying to out bs each other. From what I read I don't blame Karen for closing it down. A few ruined that board for everyone, I hope they're proud of themselves.

   Banned at Perry's board? You've gotta be kidding!
   
   On the other hand, I got myself a 6 months suspension from Vegas Gang for telling a couple of flamers exactly what I thought of them...in the kind of language that they understand. They're the same scum who have been infecting Kevin's board. No surprises there.
   
   BTW - Kevin has returned to LVI.
   
   Molly was posting on Karen's "Binions" board - Las Vegas Talk Refuge - but Karen got fed up with the rudeness of some posters and closed it down. Dunno where Molly has been since.
   
   Hula Hands was in New York and got knocked down by a guy pushing a stroller - she was knocked out with a bruised face & chipped tooth - it was a hit & run. She's back home now. Les has almost disappeared on LVI.
   
   Hope you and Wanda are doing well.

   For several days he put up posts complaining about police officers. You know, they park in no parking zones, get free coffee at 7-11 and free sandwiches at McDonalds.
   
   I posted that anyone who had such deep seated feelings about police officers must have a criminal history. I also told him I felt sorry for him.
   
   The next day I checked Perrys board and was denied access telling me I was banned. No IM or e-mail from Perry or Jack. I suspect Jack banned me as everyone knows Perry has no balls.
   
   Its no big deal I've been thrown out of nicer places than that.
   
   Wanda and I are well. We are celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary next month in Vegas. We'll also celebrate my 65th birthday out there.
